Welcome to Altazi

I'm T J Linzy and Altazi is the the place where all of my work and hobbies come together.

I am currently taking a PhD at King's College London in 18th Century warfare in North America. I am supervised in this endeavour by Dr. Alan James at KCL and Dr. Wayne E. Lee at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My website for my PhD work is a The British and the American Indian of the Sixty Years' War.

I am also a freelance consultant in setting up operational activities (customer services, supply chain and technology) for e-commerce initiatives. I have previously worked for Amazon.com, Lastminute.com, and IBM. More recently, I have helped Skype, last.fm, and Dia Diwan set up their operational capabilities.

I am a member of The International Institute of Strategic Studies, The Royal Institute of International Relations at Chatham House and the Council for Emerging National Security Affairs.

I am a founding member of the E.E. Mixon Second Dragoons Foundation which provides support to soldiers' families in need, specifically educational funds for dependent children.

My hobbies include Battlefield Biker and Hayseed Haiku.
